“Bleuette in Cloth” !
A dream come true for Bleuette and Cloth Doll Lovers!
The original porcelain Bleuette celebrated her 100th birthday in 2005, and is quite a phenomenon in the doll world right now. What was missing was a Bleuette for cloth dollmakers, so Judi used all her skill and creativity to come up with the perfect cloth version and is presenting her unique doll making technique to the doll world!
“Bleuette in Cloth” the same size as the "real" Bleuette and wears all of the wonderful clothing patterns that were made for Bleuette from the early 1900s up into the late 50s or 60s.
She has "real" ball joints just like the real, porcelain Bleuettes. “Bleuette in Cloth” has 11 joints, including a turning head, and is just adorable.
Judi had to invent a way to make the sockets for the balls and this class will be the first time this technique is taught!
There are a number of other new and different techniques taught in the class, and you will be using the very best sewing and stuffing skills to produce a wonderful, collectible doll!
“Bleuette in Cloth” is made from CRAFT VELOUR…and can be made in many shades including Doll Face Pink (shown in picture) Beige, Honey, Dark Brown and Chamois.
“Bleuette in Cloth” is for intermediate to advanced dollmakers due to the small size, different techniques, and tiny fingers.

Pattern version of Bleuette without the ball joints and with easier hand choices too! The simplified version wears all of the clothes just like the ball jointed version. |
